Why Can't I Log into Webmail?

When attempting to log into Webmail, if you see a message that says wrong username or password, make sure you are logging in with the correct mailbox name and password.


Please remember:
- The mailbox name is the primary email address, not an alias. The primary email address can be found in Account Manager under the specific domain name.
- You cannot use an alias email to log-in.
- The password is case sensitive.

Is There a Direct Login for My Webmail?

Often, it is bothersome to constantly log into your Account Manager to access your webmail. If you would like to bypass this, you can access your webmail by simply typing "mail.domain.com" in your browser, where "domain.com" is your domain.


For instance, if you happened to own the domain “namesecure.com", you would type "mail.namesecure.com" into your browser to get to the login page.


Note: For easy access to Webmail, make sure you bookmark this page by adding the address to your Favorites in your browser.

Why Can't I Log into my Webmail Using IE8?

Slight differences between this newest version of Internet Explorer and previous versions may cause you to not be able to login to your webmail.


Fortunately, there is a setting within your Internet Explorer browser that will allow your webmail to function normally - in only a few steps:


1. Open Internet Explorer 8 (IE 8)
2. Click "Tools" near the top-right of your browser
3. Click "Compatibility View Settings"
4. Select the "Display all websites in Compatibility View" check box
5. Click "Close"
6. Enter your webmail as you normally would


Note: If changing this setting does not work immediately, you may need to close and restart your browser.

How Do I Setup My Auto Reply?

When a message is sent to the email address with an active auto responder, the message is automatically replied to with a prewritten message. Such messages are typically used for an Out of Office message or while folks are on vacation. Each emailbox has one auto responder.


1. Click the Configuration icon (with the wrench) found in the upper left toolbar.
2. Maximize the "E-Mailbox Settings" category.
3. Click on "Auto-Responder"
4. Enter the subject and text you would like the reply to include.
5. Check the box to "Enable Autoresponder"
6. Click "Save"

How Can I Forward My Mail?

Use email forwarding to automatically send messages addressed to your emailbox to another valid email address.


1. Click the Configuration icon (with the wrench) found in the upper left toolbar.
2. Maximize the "E-Mailbox Settings" category.
3. Click on "Forward My Mail"
4. Enter the email address you would like to forward your messages.
5. Click "Save"

How Do I Create New Folders?

Folders help you organize and manage your email messages. You can create folders according to project, mail group, date, company, or other subjects important to you.


1. Go to your Inbox
2. Right-click on "Inbox" in the upper left box
3. Select "New Subfolder"
4. Select "Email"
5. A new folder will appear highlighted. Type in the name you would like to call this folder.

What Happens to Mail in the Trash Folder?

Email messages placed in the Trash Folder will automatically be deleted 45 days after being placed in the Trash Folder. You may also empty the Trash folder at any time to immediately delete all messages in the Trash Folder.

How Do I Create New Folders?

Right-click on the message to delete.


1. Select "Delete". This will move the message(s) to your "Trash" folder.
2. To permanently delete messages from your Trash, repeat the above process from within the "Trash" folder.

For multiple message deleting:


1. Hold the "CTRL" key while right-clicking on each individual message to delete.
2. Select "Delete". This will move the message(s) to your "Trash" folder.
3. To permanently delete messages from your Trash, repeat the above process from within the "Trash" folder.

For mass message deleting:


1. Click on a message.
2. Hold the "Shift" key and click on another message.
3. All items between the selected messages will be highlighted.
4. Right-click on any of the highlighted messages.
5. Select "Delete". This will move the message(s) to your "Trash" folder.

To permanently delete messages from your Trash, repeat the above process from within the "Trash" folder.


Note: This will clear all emails from your Trash. Once you perform this task, the messages are not recoverable.

How Can I Delete Messages from My Webmail?

Why Do I Get a "Warning: Page Has Expired" Message?

There is a time-out setting that controls how long you can use the back button. This feature is used to prevent other people from accessing your email if you leave your computer. Please close the Webmail window and log in again.

Can I Import My Address Book?

1. Click the Configuration icon found in the upper left toolbar.
2. Maximize the "+" sign next to "Configuration". This will make "Import, Options and Tags" appear.
3. Select "Import".
4. Upload either a vCard or .CSV file. If your .CSV file was exported by Outlook, you will also need to change the drop-down menu to "Outlook® file".

How to Import Your Address Book/Contacts

1. When importing your address book from a CSV file, first ensure that your CSV file is formatted properly. All data fields should be in sequential columns with no empty columns in between as illustrated below. The file must contain a title row and the column titles must conform to the Open Exchange standards. For a full list of allowed column titles see the end of this article. The column titles in your CSV file should match the "Displayed Name" column from the allowed titles table.



2. To start importing your contacts click on the configuration icon in the top left navigation menu in your web mail.



3. Next click on the 'Import' option in your 'Configuration' Folder List.
4. Next select the 'CSV (Contacts)' option on the Configuration/Import window, and click 'Browse' to locate your CSV file.
5. Next select your CSV file by browsing to it's location on your computer; you should then see the file path to your CSV file displayed in the Browse' text box.
6. Then simply click the 'Import' button above the 'Configuration/Import' window.
7. If completed successfully you should see the following confirmation message.

Why Can't I Upload My .CSV File in the New Webmail?

Currently, there are only two types of .csv files accepted by the new webmail version:
(1) a custom comma separated file and/or
(2) a .csv file exported by Microsoft® Outlook.

Unfortunately, the import function does not currently accept .csv files exported by Gmail®, Hotmail®, Yahoo!®, etc. since their formatting tends to differ greatly. However, most of these providers do support vCard export - which is accepted by our webmail.
