Help:
FORWARD TO URL

To print this page, right-click (option-click on Macintosh) inside the window and select "Print."

What it does

The Forward to URL service lets you attach a domain name to any existing Web site, even "free host" sites. Traffic that arrives at a domain name is automatically forwarded through our computers to a URL (Web address) specified by you.

Example URL: http://www.gonamesecure.com/~myname/index.html

How to use it

1. Log into to My Account and click Modify/Update for the domain name.
2. Click the Web Settings tab.
3. Click the Modify link next to Forward to URL.
4. Type a forwarding address in the URL field. Remember to include an "http://" in the address. Click a radio button to turn the URL Gripper feature on or off. Click Submit.
5. Review the information on the Confirm page. Click Submit to confirm the changes. You can also click your browser's Back button to change the information or Cancel to cancel the process.
6. To turn the service on, click the radio button next to Forward to URL on the Web Settings main page and then click Submit.

More Help

If you are unsure of how to get your Web site's URL, try accessing the site through a Web browser and then copying the address from the browser's address bar. Remember to include the "http://" at the beginning of the address. You can also call the service provider responsible for hosting the site to find out the URL.
